Crítica Contemporánea. Revista de Teoría Política (ISSN 1688-7840) is an international open-access peer-reviewed journal open to contributions from every methodological, philosophical and ideological perspective. We publish articles in normative political philosophy, Latin American political philosophy, critical theory, queer theory, political history, history of political ideas, feminist political theory, cultural analysis of political life and political studies of culture, postcolonial political theory and political theory informed by sociology, law, economics and anthropology.


It is published by the Group for Citizenship Studies of the Institute of Political Science of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of the Republic in Montevideo, Uruguay.
